The Cadillac of Ranches

Cadillac Ranch: A Venue With Character

At the Cadillac Ranch in Burlington, NC, we got to be a part of Josh and Rachel’s big day from start to finish.

It’s always cool witnessing two families come together (something we’ve waxed poetic on many many times previously), but it adds an additional layer of coolness when it’s obvious both sides are already close. Definitely something awesome to be in the mix of.

We always recommend that everyone get ceremony coverage all the time no matter what. However, our motivation behind this urging is not entirely practical. We legitimately enjoy providing the ceremony music and being able to be a part of the entire day. Being there from start to finish is really an unparalleled experience.

And this wedding was no exception.

A second cool part of being involved in the ceremony is seeing all the behind the scenes action. One of the most unique aspects of our (already unique) job is looking over at a bride as she takes in that last moment before walking down the aisle, giving her a thumbs up, and playing the song she chose for her big moment.

GRAHAM was truly excellent!! Flexible, took initiative, was patient with my many questions and concerns, and executed perfectly! I wish I was getting married again to have the awesome party Graham led after! Thank you, Graham!!

It Was Time to Party

Every wedding is different. In all the weddings we’ve seen, we’ve never been to one and thought that it was just like another. This one stood out to us due, in part, to all the personal touches.

From all the photos of the couple hung up around the venue to the ways they made the intros and dances their own, it was absolutely unique. And we respect that.

The reception was an intimate affair, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t room to party. From the best man performing an interpretive dance to “Pony” by Ginuwine for the groom (as we and the other guests looked on in awe) to the whole crowd taking to the dance floor for group dances, there were many sights to see. And that’s another aspect of working in weddings we love. There are always sights to see. And ultimately, that’s what it’s about: a celebration.

Weddings and receptions shouldn’t be drab affairs. We staunchly believe that. Even if it’s an intimate gathering, there’s always room to celebrate.

Final Thoughts

And as a final note, we just need to say… We absolutely love what we do. Being a part of the unique and personal ways couples celebrate is why we do it. And we loved being a part of this celebration. It’s always awesome to see how couples choose to celebrate.

In conclusion, we’ve learned that being a wedding DJ isn’t just about playing the music. So we take our role seriously. Facilitating such a big day is a serious job! That’s why we always give every wedding or event our all.
